WHY BOSQUE ANDINO EXISTS

Bosque Andino Adventures was born from a deep connection with Chile’s landscapes and a belief that travel should be immersive, active and thoughtfully designed.

After years exploring Patagonia, the Andes and remote regions across the country, we saw the need for journeys that go beyond classic tourism — experiences that prioritize movement, local knowledge and authentic access to nature.

Today, we design expedition-style travel for curious travelers who want to explore deeply while traveling comfortably and responsibly.

Santiago Lecaros

Santiago is the global vision of Bosque Andino, with over ten years of experience across England, Scotland, China, and Chile, he has worked with key organizations such as Chile’s Undersecretary of Tourism, ProChile, and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).

He brings both international expertise and a deep passion for outdoor exploration. Marathon runner, cyclist, sailor, birdwatcher, husband and father, Santiago combines his love for nature with a strong background in the tourism industry.
