    Located on the banks of the iconic Simpson River, this 7-night programe is designed for anglers seeking world-class fishing, comfort, and authentic Patagonian hospitality.

    The experience combines daily guided fishing expeditions to some of the region’s most productive waters with lodge-based accommodation, local gastronomy, and moments of relaxation — including traditional Patagonian lamb barbecue and private hot tub sessions overlooking the river.

    This is a fully hosted, private fishing programe with curated logistics, expert local guides, and access to exclusive waters rarely reached by conventional travelers.

    Grilled ribeye steak and local longaniza sausage served with roasted baby potatoes and pebre (traditional Chilean salsa). Includes Pisco Sours from La Pisca, 20 Austral Lager beers, and 5 bottles of Chilean red wine.

    Crystal-clear river below Cerro Castillo with excellent brown trout fishing.

    Each day is tailored based on water levels, weather conditions, and angler ability.

  • Day 1 – Arrival Balmaceda

    Arrival at Balmaceda Airport.
    Private transfer (approx. 90 minutes) to the Lodge.

    Welcome drink and lodge orientation.
    Fishing briefing and gear setup.
    Welcome home-made dinner.

    Overnight at lodge or cottage.

    Days 2–7 – Guided Fishing Programme

    Each day follows a flexible rhythm based on fishing conditions.

    Morning

    Early breakfast.
    Departure to selected river stretch.
    Full morning fishing session (walk & wade or float depending on river).

    Midday

    Riverside box lunch prepared by the Bosque Andino team.

    Afternoon

    Continuation of fishing in selected pools and runs.

    Return to the lodge late afternoon.

    Evening

    Chef-prepared dinner featuring local products.
    Storytelling and fishing recap session.

    During the week the programme includes:

    • One evening traditional Patagonian lamb barbecue (asado al palo)
    • One evening traditional ribeye steak barbecue
    • Two scheduled private hot tub sessions by the river
    • Optional light exploration walks around waterfalls and forest trails

    Fishing days are diversified across river systems to maximize variety and success.

    Day 8 – Departure

    Breakfast at lodge.
    Private transfer to Balmaceda Airport.

    Guests may choose between two private lodging options located within the riverside property.

    Private Fishing Lodge – Up to 6 Guests (Sauna)

    A spacious lodge designed for small groups seeking comfort and privacy after a full day outdoors. The lodge features multiple bedrooms, cozy common areas, and a traditional wood-heated sauna — ideal for relaxing after fishing or exploring the surrounding trails.

    Private Riverside Cottage – Up to 4 Guests

    A charming and independent Patagonian cottage set directly along the banks of the Río Simpson.

    Built in warm wood and surrounded by native forest, the cottage offers comfortable bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and inviting living spaces with river views.

    Ideal for couples or small groups seeking a quiet and intimate wilderness stay.
